      NPOANS is an online toolkit aimed at all businesses that sell age restricted goods or services. It provides easy to use guidance on how to prevent the illegal sale of age restricted goods and services.

      The toolkit is run & maintained directly by Trading Standards South West with a dedicated group of experts who ensure the toolkit is kept up to date with any current & upcoming legislation that may affect businesses.

      The toolkit provides the following:

      • Personalised product training
      • Owners’ and Supervisors’ reports on training progress
      • Supervisors’ handbook
      • Resource library which includes posters and training materials

      Businesses in the following trading standards areas may receive the toolkit free of charge:

      • Bath & North East Somerset
      • Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole
      • Cornwall
      • Dorset
      • Gloucestershire
      • Heart of the South West (which includes Devon, Somerset, Torbay and Plymouth)
      • North Somerset
      • South Gloucestershire
      • Worcestershire

      If your business does not qualify the charges are listed below:

      Small Business 1 Store/Premises with up to 30 users £32 + VAT
      Local Chain 2-9 Stores/Premises with up to 100 users £107 + VAT
